Our Festival is Dedicated to Showcasing Worldwide Independent Talent

“Behold I Will Do A New Thing”  is the theme for the Nehemiah Film Festival’s debut year.  The Nehemiah Film Festival is brought to you by the Nehemiah Project LA as champions of positive change. The Nehemiah Project LA works to shine a spotlight on the plight of foster youth exiting from the foster care system, and the challenges they face in obtaining a stable and productive future. This festival will provide a platform for inspiring independent filmmakers as well as encourage filmmakers who have been in the foster care system and orphans or those without family support in other countries to submit films in our special category. The Nehemiah Film Festival introduces new categories for Spoken Word expression, stand-up comedy in addition to short films, narratives, documentary and more.

We recognize that Artists put their heart and soul into their work yet may not have a venue to show it off. This venue presents an opportunity to show work on a global scale and to grow a fan base.

We will partner with media outlets such as Sahara TV and Hosanna Broadcast Network with viewership around the world exposing the films to millions of viewers.  In addition with The Zoe Association, which has a global network of churches, businesses and nonprofits (NGOs) in Africa, Asia, South America, Caribbean and Latin America.
